1. Who we are and the data controller
LearnAI is an educational platform for teaching AI skills on learnaiskills.cloud. The operator (personal data controller) is the owner and operator of the LearnAI service. Contact for any questions about data: support@learnaiskills.cloud. Legal details of the operator are available upon request.
2. What data we collect
Credentials: email and secure (hashed) password via the Supabase authentication service. Learning progress: lessons completed, attempts, points scored, repetition cards. Texts of your assignments: prompts and answers that you submit in exercises. AI usage metrics and technical logs (including IP address) for stability and protection against abuse. We do not store payment data - it is processed by Paddle (see clause 8).
3. Legal basis for processing
We process data on the following grounds (Article 6 GDPR): - Account, access to lessons, checking assignments and showing progress - execution of the contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)). – Payment processing and storage of payment records – performance of a contract and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(b),(c)). — Technical logs, limits and protection against abuse - a legitimate interest in the security of the service (Article 6(1)(f)). - Optional communications (if any) - your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which can be revoked at any time.
4. How we use data
Provision and operation of the service, checking assignments and tips, showing your progress, analytics to improve the course, security and abuse prevention. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising targeting.
5. Processing through AI providers
To check assignments and provide hints, your exercise texts are transferred to a third-party AI model provider solely for generating the answer. Do not send sensitive personal information (medical, financial, etc.) to assignments.
6. Subprocessors (to whom we transfer data)
We engage only trusted processors on a contractual basis necessary for the operation of the service: — Supabase — authentication and database (account and progress). - Paddle.com Market Ltd - payment processing as Merchant of Record. — third-party supplier of AI models — processing of task texts by an AI model. — DigitalOcean — server infrastructure hosting. A current list of subprocessors is available upon request to support@learnaiskills.cloud.
7. International data transfer
Some subprocessors may process data outside the EEA (including in the USA). In such cases, the transfer is carried out on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses (SCC) or other statutory mechanisms that provide an adequate level of protection.
8. Payments
Payments are processed through Paddle as a Merchant of Record. Card data is entered on the Paddle side - we do not receive or store it. Paddle processes payment information in accordance with its privacy policy.
9. Cookies
We only use technical cookies necessary for the login session. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
10. Data storage and terms
Account and progress data is retained for as long as your account is active and is deleted upon your request for deletion (usually within 30 days). Technical logs and usage metrics - usually up to 12 months. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting laws (on the Paddle side as Merchant of Record).
11. Security
Data is stored in a secure database with line-by-line access control (RLS); transmission via HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures.
12. Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, export (portability), deletion or restriction of processing, as well as withdraw consent and object to processing - write to support@learnaiskills.cloud. If you are located in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your country's data protection supervisory authority.
13. Children
The Service is not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
14. Changes
We may update this policy; Significant changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
