AI is not scary

Write to AI about any fear you have about technology or about AI itself - and ask him to calmly, in simple words, explain whether this is something to be afraid of. For example: “I’m afraid to press the wrong button and break something.”

Take it easy on AI
💡 A bit of theory

Anxiety about new things is normal and human. “What if I break something”, “what if he’s eavesdropping on me”, “what if I seem stupid” - almost everyone has such thoughts. The good news is that you can ask the AI itself about these concerns directly, in calm words. Imagine that there is a patient interlocutor nearby, who does not mind explaining everything as many times as necessary, and who will never smile at the question. You can honestly tell him: “I’m worried about this” - and ask him to explain more gently. A simple trick: write it like this - “explain calmly and in simple words whether you should be afraid of this.” The tone of the answer will become softer. A common beginner mistake is to silently carry fear within yourself and therefore not try at all. But the unspoken fear does not go away. Put a name to it and it will almost always turn out to be smaller than it seemed.
