Rights and ethics of AI video

Videos with real faces and voices are a high-risk area, and what matters here is not “how beautiful it is,” but “do I have the right.” Three supports. The first is consent: another person's face or voice (including a celebrity) cannot be animated or forced to speak without permission; this also applies to “digital doubles” of living people. Second, sources: music, brands, characters from films and games are protected; for commerce, take materials with an explicit license or create your own. Third, transparency: if the video contains a synthetic person or events that did not happen, the viewer must understand this; Many sites require AI content to be tagged, and disinformation and “deepfakes” (fake videos with someone else’s face) without tagging can lead to blocking and the law. Insider: keep a short checklist BEFORE generation - is there agreement, whose intellectual property is, whether the “AI generated” mark is needed. It's cheaper than deleting a video after a complaint. The second trick is to save prompts and sources: if a dispute arises about authorship, you have evidence of the process. A typical rookie mistake is to “revive” a photo of a public person for the sake of hype. Legally and reputationally, this is the fastest way to get into trouble.
